This is my second year here at Warren County High School and I am so thankful to be home. I am a graduate of Warren County and a former FFA member. This being said, I am very excited about working with the students that are the future of our chapter and community. I am married with two wonderful children. Philip, my husband, works at Middle Tennessee State University as the Director of Finance. Our beautiful children are Conner and Haley. Conner is 8 and will be in the 3rd grade while Haley is 5 and starting Kindergarten. Our family enjoys gardening on our family farm and watching our favorite teams (Pioneers, Vanderbilt Commodores, and Chicago Cubs) play! I graduated in 2006 with a Bachelors Degree in Agriculture with an emphasis in Education from Tennessee Technological University and hope to begin my masters in the spring semester. I have been involved in two engineering studies with TTU Engineering Department and try to incorporate engineering into my curriculum as much as possible. Before joining the team at Warren County Agriculture Department, I taught 2 years at Lebanon High School Agriculture Department and 3 years in the Science Department at Warren County Middle School. I currently am the Agriscience teacher here at Warren County High School and enjoy working with the freshman of our chapter. I am also working on creating a Hydroponics Lab for our students. I look forward to starting a new year at WCHS and working with your students as they grow in FFA. | |
