Warren County Head Football Coach Tom Moore announced today of a free youth football camp to be held at the high school field on Wednesday May 31 and Thursday June 1 from 5-7 each evening. Coach Moore said that this would be a 2 day camp to work with kids ages 7-13 to work on the fundamentals of football. Moore also said that representatives and coaches from the Warren County Youth Football League would be at the camp let boys sign up for football. Coach Moore talked about the importance of the youth program for the success of the middle school and high school programs. "We need to encourage more kids to participate in football in this county. There is a direct correlation of the size and quality of our youth program to the success of our football program at the high school. We have some really good people in the youth program now. We just need to get more kids interested in playing football." Moore said that the varsity team will be working out in the afternoons on May 31 and June 1 so several of the Pioneers can be at the camp which will begin immediately after the Pioneers workouts are over. I am inviting anyone who has an interest in football to come out to our camp. All of our varsity coaches will be working the camp.
