Hello! My name is Joe Bost. I graduated from McMinnville City High School in 1965. I entered Tennessee Technological University in 1971 and graduated "With Distinction" in 1974 with a B.S. in Secondary Education in the area of English. I received a Master of Arts in Instructional Leadership from TTU in 1998. I began my career at Dibrell Elementary as the Resource teacher in September of 1974. From 1980 to 1988 I taught sixth - eighth math, and from 1988 to 2005 I taught fifth grade. I am currently working as the Instructional Coordinator at Dibrell Elementary. My responsibilities include Building Test Coordinator for district and state testing, Technology Assistant, and the school website. I am married to Linda Bost, the school secretary, and we have one daughter, Allison. Allison is currently a Kindergarten teacher at Dibrell. My hobbies include lawn work, gardening, and landscaping. I also enjoy solving crossword puzzles, studying history, and watching Tennessee Titan football. | |
