1. Unless each student arrives in class with the necessary materials, we teachers cannot conduct class. Therefore, we expect every student to arrive in each class fully prepared to work. a.) Bring the necessary supplies to class every class, every day. b.) Upon entering the classroom, get to your seat and prepare for class. c.) Most subjects will have assignments on weekdays, Monday-Thursday. Friday assignments are optional. d.) All assignments will be completed on time. e.) If students need to check and see exactly what their homework assignments are each day, they can call the Homework Hotline at 474-2134, extension 2712. Every day the assignments are placed on the Hotline for the convenience of students and parents. Parents should be aware that the recorded message on the Hotline is changed daily so that parents and students can get the homework for each night.
We expect students to follow all instructions the first time they are given. a.) Absolutely no gum is allowed in the classroom. (ASI will be assigned for breaking this rule.) b.) Do not bring toys, radios, cd players, etc. to school.
We expect students to act in a respectful manner toward teachers, staff, school property, and their fellow students. a.) Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself. b.) Do not remove anything from a classroom without permission. c.) No running, yelling, or scuffling in the class, halls, or restrooms. d.) Please raise your hand and wait to be called upon before speaking. e.) Do not mark or damage desks, walls, computers, or textbooks. (Students will be held financially responsible for any damage to school property.)
We expect students to not be in the halls during class time without a pass. a.) Students should use the bathrooms between classes. b.) Students should get all necessary materials from their lockers before class begins.
