Team Information and Expectations

  • All work is to be done in pencil unless otherwise instructed by the teacher.
  • Homework assignments will be posted in all classrooms. Students must record their homework assignments in their WCMS handbook.
  • Be prepared when class begins. This means that pencils are sharpened, the assignment is on the desk, and that the student is quiet and ready for class to begin. Students should go to lockers, the restroom, and water fountain between classes.
  • Be responsible. Students will turn in assignments on time and the assignments will be properly labeled.
  • At the end of each class, students will be dismissed by the teacher, NOT the bell.
  • Be respectful to others and others' space. This includes raising your hand and waiting to be called on before asking a question or making a comment.
  • Students must leave backpacks, bags, etc. in his or her locker.
  • The classroom is not the place for combing/brushing hair or for applying make-up or perfume. Any items other than school supplies will be confiscated (CD players, magazines, toys, etc.)
  • It is the student's responsibility to take care of textbooks, classroom books, library books, etc. Books that have been written in, torn, have missing pages, etc. must be paid for by the student's legal guardian. Also, it is the student's responsibility to keep lockers clean and free of stickers inside and out.
  • Students will show appropriate behavior in the cafeteria, hallways and restrooms.
  • Use snack machines only at break time. Items bought at other times will be confiscated and a consequence given to the student.
  • Students have the responsibility of keeping our school clean. Paper and trash should be removed from desks and floors. Students will respect the property of school and others.
